5Essentials Survey

On behalf of the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois 5Essentials Survey will be administered online by UChicago Impact at the University of Chicago. The survey gathers data related to five indicators that can predict important student outcomes, including improved attendance and larger test score gains. These five indicators that affect and predict school success are:

Effective Leaders

Collaborative Teachers

Involved Families

Supportive Environments

Ambitious Instruction

District 300 uses the Parent Teacher Conference (PTC) Wizard to register parents/guardians for Parent Teacher conferences.  You may begin registering for your conferences starting Monday, October 30th, 2017.  The system will close on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at 11:59pm.  Conference dates are:

Monday, November 20 from 11:00am until 4:00pm and 5:00pm until 8:00pm

Tuesday, November 21 from 8:00am until 1:00pm

The Wild West Book Fair has arrived at HES! Come visit HES for our Open House and Book Fair at the following times: 

Tuesday 9/26:       6:00-7:00   Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade Open House

                            6:30-8:00   Book Fair open for browsing and shopping

Wednesday 9/27    6:00-7:00   3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade Open House

“Kindergarten Round-Up Meetings” will held between February 21 – 28 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.   These meetings are for parents / guardians.  The meetings will focus on the kindergarten experience and the on-line registration process.  The meetings will be held at the five middle schools

We would like to provide you with important information regarding student registration and Online Registration Information Nights for New Families. 

All District 300 families must register their students for the upcoming 2016-2017 academic year through our online registration application.
